USD 417 2020-2021 Enrollment Information
New Students: New students must enroll in person. To make the enrollment process faster you can go through the pre-enrollment process starting on July 5th at our pre-enrollment portal. All new students will need to attend onsite enrollment on either July 29th or July 30st from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Council Grove Jr/Sr High School commons.
Any students who move into USD 417 after July 30th will need to visit the office of the school the student will be attending to complete the enrollment process.
Returning Students: For returning students only, online enrollment will open up on July 5th and will end on July 23th. If you need assistance with the online enrollment tool between July 5th and July 23th, please contact the district office at 620-767-5192. Any returning students who do not complete the enrollment process online between July 5th and July 23th will need to attend the onsite enrollment at the CGJSHS Commons Area between 1pm and 7pm on July 29th or July 30th. I
Both new and returning students will enroll through the PowerSchool Parent portal. If you do not have a parent portal please contact your school office or attend the in person enrollment on July 29th or 30th.
Free and Reduced Lunch: For the 2021-2022 school year we will again have free lunch for all students. There will not be an application process like there was in previous years. We will however ask you to fill out a household economic survey and that will be done during enrollment.
Our goal is to make the enrollment process as convenient as possible while trying to collect all the information necessary to ensure your student has a successful start to the school year. Please ensure that students are enrolled by July 30th. If you have any questions, please contact the district office at 620-767-5192.
